ABOUT PROFUSION SYSTEMS

Profusion Systems is a Chicago-based, AI-enabled custom software development company with its delivery team in Ahmedabad. We build production software and AI systems for clients in fintech, nonprofit, food and facility services, and SaaS. The Ahmedabad team works US Pacific hours and collaborates directly with US leadership and clients.

This is the first dedicated HR role in the company. You are not inheriting a function — you are building one.

WHAT THIS ROLE ACTUALLY IS

Most of the value in this job sits in two places: getting good people through the door, and keeping the ones we already have. Your weight goes into recruiting, onboarding, retention, and making the performance process actually happen on schedule.

You will work directly with the founders. There is no HR layer above you and no one to route decisions through,



which means the process you design is the process the company runs.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Full-cycle recruiting. Sourcing, screening, coordinating technical interviews, offer negotiation, and closing — for both technology and BPO roles. Tech hiring in Ahmedabad is competitive, and this is the part of the job we will measure most closely.
- The campus pipeline. Build and own our relationships with Nirma University (III Cell) and Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU / DA-IICT) placement offices, plus other local institutions. Run the annual summer intern cohort end to end, including the February–March recruiting cycle.
- Onboarding. A structured first-30-days program: paperwork, systems access, workstation readiness, a buddy assignment, and a documented ramp plan per role. New joiners should be productive in week one, not week five.
- The performance cycle as a process. We run on KPIs. Team leads own performance conversations; you own that
