Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement occupational safety programs to minimize workplace hazards and promote a safety-first culture.
- Integrate international HSE best practices with Indian safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols across all project and site activities.
- Organize HSE training, awareness programs, and safety campaigns for employees.
- Establish and implement SHE policies, procedures, and performance standards for Metro Rail projects.
- Coordinate with project teams for effective execution of safety measures at construction sites.
- Monitor, review, and continuously improve SHE management systems and programs.
- Track, analyze, and report HSE performance metrics and key indicators.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and national SHE laws and regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.




- Keep projects aligned with evolving legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems in line with ISO 45001 standards.
- Lead ISO 45001 certification and recertification processes, including documentation, training, and audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve global safety and operational excellence standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree with additional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Robust knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, both international and Indian.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
