We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive automated testing frameworks. The role focuses on developing and executing automated tests, identifying automation opportunities, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automation strategies. The Automation Engineer will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve issues while continuously optimizing testing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide testing support.
- Create and execute test cases for REST services to validate system functionality.
- Apply strong QA principles and logical/analytical thinking to identify edge cases, negative scenarios, boundary conditions, and potential product risks.
- Review requirements from a QA perspective, proactively identify gaps,



ambiguities, dependencies, and potential quality risks, and raise clarifications with relevant stakeholders.
- Design effective test scenarios and test cases covering both expected and unexpected system behavior, ensuring meaningful test coverage beyond happy-path scenarios.
- Identify and implement new automation opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test plans.
- Stay up to date with recent testing approaches, tools, and test strategies.
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Evaluate and perform Proof of Concept (PoC) with current tools and frameworks when required.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- 0-3 years of experience in software testing and test automation using Java.
