Why This Role Exists

Beautiful clothing doesnt sell itself on Instagram - motion does. A flat-lay gets a polite like; a 7-second twirl on the right trending audio reaches 50,000 strangers, half of them mums scrolling for exactly this. That engine is under-built, and its your job to build it.

Youre not "someone who shoots a few videos." Youre the person who makes the brand move - daily Reels, scroll-stopping hooks, and content that travels beyond our followers to bring new customers in. Do this well, and you become the most key growth lever in the brand.

What Youll Do
- Shoot Reels that travel. Twirls, transitions, outfit reveals, slow-mo flares, GRWM for little ones - planned, shot, and shipped on a daily cadence.
- Edit for the algorithm. Ride trending audio while its hot, hook viewers in the first 1.5 seconds, cut for saves and shares in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or whatevers fastest.
- Direct kids on set with patience. Getting a genuine smile or a real spin without a stressed-out shoot is a non-negotiable skill.
- Make the product the hero. Lighting, framing, styling,



colour - every frame protects the brands aesthetic.
- Run your own kit end to end. Your camera, your studio setup, consistently high-quality footage - indoors, outdoors, or on the fly.
- Own the content calendar. Plan around festivals, birthdays, weddings, and seasons parents actually shop for. Bring ideas - dont wait for a brief.
- Read the numbers and iterate. Reach, saves, shares, watch-time - double down on what works, kill what doesnt.
- Shoot stills when needed. Product, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes for Stories.

Non-Negotiable
- Own camera and lens kit - you show up shoot-ready.
- 2+ years creating short-form video (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) for a brand, agency, or as a creator - fashion, kids, lifestyle, or D2C preferred.
- A portfolio of Reels you personally shot and edited (send links - well look at the numbers).
- Hands-on in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro (After Effects, Lightroom a plus
