Field Sales Manager - FMCG, OTC & Pharma Retail Distribution

We are looking for a hands-on Field Sales Manager to build retail-market coverage, develop pharmacy/chemist/general-trade accounts and lead a small team of field sales officers.

This is a market-facing role, not a desk-only reporting role. The successful candidate will spend substantial time in the field: opening outlets, visiting key accounts, coaching sales officers, driving repeat orders and maintaining collection discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute territory-wise route plans for field sales officers.
- Recruit, train, coach and supervise field sales officers as the team grows.
- Personally visit key pharmacies, chemists, retailers, distributors and trade customers.
- Develop new productive outlets and reactivate inactive accounts.
- Drive orders across FMCG, OTC, consumer-health, personal-care, medical-device and pharma retail-distribution categories.
- Ensure accurate communication of products, prices, schemes, credit terms and order conditions.
- Review daily outlet visits, order pipeline,



delivered sales, collections, returns and customer issues.
- Protect collection discipline: approve no customer credit, discount or scheme outside policy.
- Monitor retailer performance, repeat-order behaviour, competitor activity, pricing and local market opportunities.
- Work closely with operations on stock availability, delivery follow-up, returns, expiry concerns and customer service.
- Ensure every salesperson updates the CRM or sales application with visits, orders, follow-ups, collections and market feedback.
- Produce transparent daily and weekly reports on productive outlets, sales, collections, ageing, repeat orders, team activity and risks.
- Maintain high standards of product, pricing, credit, documentation and compliance discipline. Do not make unauthorised medical, product or commercial claims.
