Role & responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural and bridge drawings based on design inputs, calculations, and engineering instructions.
- Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) for bridges and related structures.
- Prepare detailed drawings for RCC and structural components such as foundations, piers, abutments, decks, girders, slabs, retaining walls, and other bridge elements.
- Prepare reinforcement detailing drawings and bar bending details as per approved designs.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, and detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Modify and update drawings based on comments from Structural Engineers and Project Managers.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, relevant standards, and design requirements.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and other design team members for preparation and revision of drawings.
- Check drawings for dimensions, levels, reinforcement details, quantities, and drafting accuracy before submission.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revisions,



and document control.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and incorporating site-related modifications where required.
- Interpret engineering sketches, design calculations, and structural design inputs for accurate drafting.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Preferred candidate profile
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and structural drafting.
- Knowledge of Bridge/Structural Drawings and Reinforcement Detailing.
- Understanding of RCC structures and basic structural engineering concepts.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings, plans, sections, and engineering details.
- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of MS Office will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation or other structural drafting software will be an advantage.
