Role & responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and statutory requirements applicable to the project.
- Monitor air, water, noise, and soil parameters and ensure limits are within prescribed standards.
- Implement and maintain Environmental Management Plans (EMP) at project and site levels.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and identify mitigation measures for project activities.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring, testing, and reporting with approved laboratories and consultants.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports, returns, and documentation to regulatory authorities.
- Conduct environmental awareness training, inductions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
