Job Summary

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring operational integrity across all company retail stores and warehouses by monitoring adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role involves conducting compliance audits, verifying ASM audit reports, investigating operational discrepancies, preparing audit reports, and supporting compliance-related projects and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Store Warehouse Compliance Audits
- Conduct regular audits across retail stores and warehouse locations.
- Evaluate compliance with SOPs, operational standards, safety, hygiene, and inventory controls.
- Verify stock handling procedures, storage conditions, and documentation accuracy.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct surprise audits and spot checks when required.
- Verification of ASM Monthly Audits
- Review and approve audit reports submitted by ASMs.
- Cross-check inventory records, operational practices,



and supporting documentation.
- Identify deviations, inconsistencies, and compliance gaps.
- Ensure audit accuracy and accountability.
- Reporting, Escalations and Issue Resolution
- Prepare structured audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and observations.
- Recommend corrective actions such as retraining, warnings, or penalties where required.
- Investigate discrepancies including stock loss, process violations, or staff misconduct.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational and compliance issues.
- Escalate unresolved or repeated non-compliance issues to management.
- Track and ensure closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain confidentiality of audit findings and investigation reports.
- Ensure policy and SOP updates are communicated and implemented across locations.
