- Plan, supervise, and control day-to-day fabrication activities as per production schedules.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Handle fabrication processes including sheet-metal cutting, bending, drilling, welding, grinding, and assembly.
- Ensure proper fabrication of components, frames, panels, brackets, cabinets, and mechanical structures used in medical equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Design/NPD, Quality, Stores, and Purchase departments for smooth workflow.
- Monitor fabrication processes to achieve required dimensions, tolerances, fitment, and surface finish.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of fabrication machines, tools, jigs, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
- Identify fabrication defects such as improper welding, distortion, dimensional mismatch, dents,



scratches, and poor finishing, and take corrective action.
- Conduct in-process inspection and coordinate with the Quality Department for final inspection and clearance.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Monitor manpower utilization, production targets, material consumption, and fabrication productivity.
- Reduce material wastage, rework, rejection, and fabrication-related production delays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
