We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage and coordinate day-to-day transportation activities. The candidate will act as a bridge between the plant, transport agencies, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth and timely delivery operations. The role requires strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to monitor vehicle movement and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with manufacturing plants, transport agencies, and drivers for vehicle dispatch and delivery planning.
- Track vehicle movements from dispatch to final delivery at customer locations.
- Ensure timely placement of vehicles and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Maintain regular communication with transporters and drivers regarding route status, loading, unloading, and delivery updates.
- Build and maintain robust professional relationships with transporters.
- Resolve transportation and delivery-related issues promptly to avoid operational delays.
- Monitor dispatch records, delivery reports, and transportation documentation.
- Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Prepare daily operational reports and update management on delivery performance and operational challenges.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Freshers with strong communication and coordination skills may also apply.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and email communication.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
