Candidate should have sound knowledge of VMC Machine Operating/ Setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VMC machines for machining precision components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.;
- Set cutting tools, tool holders, workholding fixtures, and machine offsets.
- Load, edit, and execute CNC programs as per production requirements.
- Set work offsets, tool offsets, cutting parameters, and tool compensation.
- Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary offset corrections.
- Monitor machining processes and ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and dial gauges.




- Replace tools based on tool wear and monitor tool life.
- Troubleshoot basic machining, tooling, fixture, and dimensional issues.
- Maintain production, inspection, and machine records.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Tool Room, Programming, and Maintenance teams.
- Minimize rejection, rework, tool consumption, and machine downtime.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance practices.
- Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
