Qualifications

Required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- 4–7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, data management, or related analytical roles.
- Hands-on experience with data quality tooling: Soda, or equivalent (Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, Collibra DQ, Informatica DQ, Anomalo, Ataccama).
- Experience with data catalogue and metadata platforms: Atlan, or equivalent (Collibra, Alation, Purview, Informatica EDC).
- Solid SQL skills, with the ability to investigate and validate data quality issues directly.
- Strong grasp of data quality dimensions (completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness) and root-cause analysis.
- Experience maintaining business glossaries, lineage, and ownership metadata to a documented standard.

Preferred




- Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks and Azure.
- Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, or regulatory requirements relevant to enterprise data.
- Familiarity with data classification and sensitivity labelling.
- Experience in retail, consumer goods, or other data-intensive industries.
- Exposure to Power BI or other BI tools from a governance and quality perspective.

- Faster identification and resolution of data quality issues.
- Improved completeness and accuracy of metadata, lineage, and catalogue documentation.
- Positive stakeholder feedback on governance support and responsiveness.
