Job Description – Senior Purchase Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities for large-scale residential and commercial construction projects, with a solid focus on high-rise building projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in construction procurement, vendor development, techno-commercial evaluation, price negotiation, material planning, and project-site coordination. Hands-on experience in high-rise residential/commercial building projects is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Purchase Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials, equipment, consumables and project requirements.
- Prepare procurement plans based on project schedules, BOQs, material requirements and site priorities.
- Review purchase requisitions, technical specifications and material requirements from project/site teams.




- Source materials in line with project timelines, quality standards and approved budgets.
- Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.

2. Residential & Commercial Projects
- Handle procurement requirements for residential and commercial building projects.
- Must have hands-on experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects.
- Coordinate closely with Project, Construction, Engineering, Planning, QS and Finance teams.
- Understand project execution requirements and align procurement with construction schedules.

3. Technical & Commercial Evaluation
- Review BOQs, specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
- Conduct technical and techno-commercial comparisons of vendor quotations.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery capability and technical compliance.
- Identify cost-effective alternatives without compromising project quality.
