Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, analytical solutions, and operational applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, Spark, Hadoop, and TypeScript, along with practical experience across Palantir Foundry modules.

The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and offshore engineering teams to translate business requirements into reliable, governed, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows in Palantir Foundry.
- Develop data-processing and application solutions using Python, PySpark, SQL, Spark, and TypeScript.
- Optimize data transformations, Spark workloads, and analytical queries for performance and scalability.




- Gather and analyze requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into effective data models, applications, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Foundry data models and ontology layers.
- Build operational dashboards and applications using Palantir Foundry capabilities.
- Work with modules such as Contour, Quiver, Vertex, Workshop, Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, and AIP.
- Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data-processing and performance issues.
- Implement data-quality controls and maintain data integrity, lineage, security, and governance.
- Participate in source-code management, code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and offshore teams.
- Stay current with Palantir Foundry platform enhancements, features, and recommended practices.
