Admission Counsellor (Sales) / Career Development Advisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented Admission Counsellor / Career Development Advisor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective learners, understanding their academic and career goals, recommending suitable online degree programs, nurturing leads, and driving enrolments through consultative sales.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, counselling, negotiation, and lead-conversion skills, along with relevant experience in online higher education / online degree counselling.

Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to understand their educational and career aspirations.
- Provide personalized counselling on online degree programs, course structures, university options, and career outcomes.
- Handle the complete student journey from initial enquiry and counselling to final registration/enrolment.
- Follow up consistently with prospective learners and convert qualified leads into enrolments.




- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and enrolment targets.
- Handle student objections and provide suitable solutions through consultative counselling.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, lead status, and student interactions in CRM.
- Stay updated on competitor offerings, market trends, and developments in online education.
- Build robust relationships with prospective learners and ensure a positive counselling experience.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth enrolment and learner experience.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1 -5 years of experience in sales, academic counselling, student advisory, or a related role.
- Candidates with experience in online higher education / online degree counselling are preferred.
- Good understanding of online learning platforms and digital education trends.
- Hands-on experience with CRM sys
