Key Responsibilities Include:
- Own end-to-end controllership and financial operations, including Accounts payable, T&E;, Payroll processing, Fixed Asset Management, Intercompany Accounting, Reconciliations etc. Guide and support in-house & outsourced accounting teams for correct accounting, manage payroll accounting and intercompany transactions in coordination with the global finance team.
- Lead the full-cycle monthly and annual close, setting explicit standards for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in accordance with local GAAP. Lead close process improvements and accelerate the closing process.
- Drive cash flow management, including forecasting, monitoring burn, and optimising working capital.
- Own statutory compliance including preparation and supporting filing of FS, audits, TDS/TCS returns,, and coordination with external auditors and tax advisors. Also coordinate with the corporate secretaries for various secretarial compliance.
- Lead Audit management - Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, IFC Audit. Own the audit relationship; preparing materials,



answering auditor questions, and keeping audits running smoothly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, HR, FP&A;, and Revenue Operations on new business initiatives with accounting implications.

About the Candidate:
- CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification with 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in managing a team.
- Comfortable working with outsourced partners (accounting, GST etc) while owning final accountability.
- Deep expertise in technical accounting, with the ability to research, interpret, and apply local GAAP, statutory accounting requirements, tax regulations, and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; Tally strongly preferred.
- Experience in managing or supporting Big 4 / top-tier audits.
- Process-minded, confident communicator who collaborates effectively across remote, cross-functional, and cross-cultu
