Summary

Responsible for supervising housekeeping operations across the flight catering facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety. The role involves managing housekeeping staff, monitoring cleaning activities, maintaining supplies, and ensuring compliance with food-safety and airport/aviation hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across the catering facility. Allocate duties and shifts to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance. Ensure production areas, kitchens, stores, offices, washrooms, corridors, and common areas are clean and hygienic. Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in food-production and handling areas. Conduct regular inspections and ensure cleaning schedules are properly followed.



Monitor availability and proper usage of cleaning materials, chemicals, equipment, and PPE. Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, attendance, and cleaning schedules. Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene practices, chemical handling, and workplace safety. Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Food Safety, HR, and Maintenance teams whenever required. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, pest-related concerns, or hygiene deviations to the concerned department. Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per company and regulatory requirements. Ensure staff follow company policies, airport security requirements, and safety procedures. Handle housekeeping-related complaints and take corrective action promptly. Support internal audits, hygiene inspections, and food-safety audits.

Requirements Education: 12th pass / Diploma / Graduate preferred. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in housekeeping supervision,
