House Edit is a design-focused interior styling and consultation brand that helps homeowners transform their spaces through professional interior design solutions. We work with clients across India, providing personalised design concepts, space planning, material selections, furniture and decor recommendations, and detailed design guidance.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Interior Designer to join our growing team and be an integral part of the design process.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences, and budget.
- Develop interior design concepts and mood boards for residential spaces.
- Prepare space planning and furniture layouts.
- Create material, colour, furniture, lighting, and décor selections.
- Prepare detailed drawings, elevations, and other design documentation as required.
- Develop presentations and design proposals that communicate ideas clearly to clients.
- Coordinate with clients and the internal team throughout the design process.
- Research new materials, products, furniture, lighting, and design trends.
- Make design revisions based on client feedback while maintaining the overall design intent.
- Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically cohesive, and within the client's budget.
- Coordinate with vendors and other consultants whenever required.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
What We Are Looking For
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in residential interior design.
- Strong understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp. Knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign,Enscape, V-Ray, 3ds Max, or any AI visualization software is an advantage.
- Solid design sense and attention to detail.
