Job Title: Plastic Injection Mould Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plastic Injection Mould Designer with strong hands-on experience in UG NX (Unigraphics/NX). The candidate should be capable of independently handling complete mould design projects from concept to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Design plastic injection moulds using UG NX.
- Develop complete 3D mould assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs.
- Design cooling systems, ejection systems, sliders, lifters and hot runner systems.
- Perform DFM analysis and implement design improvements.
- Ensure mould designs meet customer requirements and tooling standards.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling and production teams.
- Resolve design issues during mould manufacturing and trials.




- Maintain design documentation and revision records.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in plastic injection mould design.
- Proficiency in UG NX / Unigraphics.
- Good knowledge of mould construction and tooling standards.
- Experience in 3D modelling, 2D detailing and BOM preparation.
- Knowledge of cooling, ejection, sliders, lifters and hot runner systems.
- Valuable understanding of plastic injection moulding processes.
- Ability to independently handle complete mould design projects.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate

Experience in automotive, consumer products or plastic tooling industries will be an added advantage.
