Position:Application Engineer – BESS Solutions

About the position

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Application Engineer to lead client engagements, analyze energy storage needs, and deliver customized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. The role involves a blend of technical expertise, customer coordination, and financial insight to design solutions that are both technically superior and financially viable.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement and Requirement Analysis:

· Work closely with customers to understand their technical and operational needs for BESS solutions.

· Conduct detailed feasibility studies to determine the best-fit BESS solution for substation-level integration.

· Present BESS solutions tailored to client-specific challenges, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

2. Technical Design and System Proposal:

· Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), technical documentation, and design layouts for BESS solutions.





· Collaborate with the R&D; team to incorporate creative components such as advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) and liquid cooling systems.

· Evaluate compatibility of BESS systems with substations and grid-connected applications.

3. Financial and Technical Viability Analysis:

· Create cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate financial advantages of BESS solutions.

· Suggest solutions that balance upfront costs with long-term savings for optimal ROI.

4. Customer Coordination and Technical Support:

· Act as the main technical point of contact for clients during pre-sales and post-sales phases.

· Address client queries related to electrical components, schematics, and system operations.

5. Industry Standards and Compliance:

· Ensure all proposed systems meet industry standards such as IS, IEC, and UL certifications.

· Monitor emerging trends and compliance requirements to ensure future-proof solutions.
