Job Purpose
Lovely Garments is looking for an energetic, responsible and customer-focused Sales Executive who can take complete responsibility for generating sales and providing an excellent customer experience at the Ghat Road store.
This is a hands-on sales role. The candidate will be expected to actively approach customers, understand their requirements, recommend products, complete sales, maintain the store and merchandise, follow up with customers and perform all activities necessary to achieve the store's sales targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Customer Handling
- Welcome and assist customers professionally.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences and budget.
- Explain product features, sizes, quality, prices and offers.
- Recommend suitable products and alternatives.
- Cross-sell and upsell relevant products.
- Handle customer objections and convert enquiries into sales.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Actively look for opportunities to increase the average bill value.
2. Complete Sales Process
- Handle customers from entry to final billing.
- Select and present products according to customer requirements.
- Check product availability and arrange alternatives when required.
- Coordinate with the billing counter for accurate billing.
- Ensure correct packing and handover of products.
- Handle exchanges and returns according to company policy.
- Maintain professional customer service even during busy periods.
3. Customer Acquisition & Follow-up
- Build a database of regular and potential customers.
- Follow up with customers regarding recent arrivals, offers and relevant products.
- Generate repeat business through WhatsApp/phone/customer communication where permitted by company policy.
