Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly of CNC/VMC machine components, sub-assemblies, and complete machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
- Assemble machine structures, beds, columns, tables, slides, spindle units, tool changers, and related components.
- Perform machine alignment, leveling, squaring, and geometric accuracy checks.
- Install and align ball screws, linear guideways, bearings, couplings, and other precision components.
- Coordinate with Electrical, CNC, Quality, Production, and Service teams during machine assembly.
- Conduct mechanical fitment, inspection, testing, and functional checks.
- Identify assembly defects, dimensional mismatches, and alignment issues and take corrective action.




- Use precision measuring instruments such as dial gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and laser alignment equipment.
- Ensure correct torqueing, lubrication, piping, cabling support, and component installation.
- Support machine commissioning, trial runs, and final machine testing.
- Maintain assembly documentation, checklists, inspection records, and production reports.
- Follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and workplace safety practices.
- Suggest improvements to assembly methods, cycle time, quality, and productivity.
