Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review purchase requisitions from different departments.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, discounts, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) after receiving the necessary approvals.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate with stores, production, accounts, administration, and other departments regarding purchase requirements.
- Verify specifications, quantities, quality standards, and delivery requirements before placing orders.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, supplier details, and related documents.
- Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and recent suppliers.
- Handle supplier delays, shortages, quality issues, returns, and other procurement-related problems.




- Ensure purchases are made according to approved budgets and company policies.
- Support inventory planning and avoid unnecessary overstocking or shortages.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for invoice verification and payment-related issues.
- Maintain an updated supplier database and vendor performance records.
- Prepare regular purchase reports, cost comparisons, pending PO reports, and procurement status reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and approval processes.
- Assist management in annual rate contracts, bulk purchases, and strategic sourcing.
- Perform other purchasing and procurement duties assigned by management.

Additional Responsibilities – Purchase Manager Level
- Lead and supervise the purchase/procurement team.
- Develop procurement strategies to reduce purchasing costs and improve efficiency.
- Establish and negotiate annual rate contracts and long-term supplier agreements
