Position Overview
Established in 1993, YRGCARE is a premier non-government organization providing comprehensive HIV services in India. Its objective is to provide prevention, care, support, and treatment services for people living with HIV/AIDS, to prevent new infections, and to ensure that patients and their families are treated with dignity.
YRGCARE is the sub-recipient of the GFATM 2024-27 cycle of funding from NACO to implement DISHA This project aims at Strengthening the systems of District Integrated Strategy for HIV/ AIDS under NACP V
The Technical Experts will provide mentoring and supportive supervision to DISHA cluster units,
ensuring the effective implementation of the National AIDS Control Program (NACP) V. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in public health, particularly in HIV/AIDS programs, and possess solid mentoring and supervisory skills.
Key Responsibilities
Mentoring and Supervision:
- Based at the cluster level, provide mentoring support to 4 to 5 DISHA cluster units or DISHA single units.
- Conduct monthly visits to all assigned DISHA units to provide on-site mentoring and supportive supervision.
- Provide evidence-based technical guidance on all components of NACP V to the DISHA units.
Coordination And Collaboration
- Strengthen coordination with allied health departments at the district level (NHM, NTEP, NVHCP) for enhanced referral linkages.
- Make field visits to NACP facilities along with DISHA staff for supportive supervision and capacity building.
Reporting And Data Quality
- Ensure the timely and quality submission of monthly reports for DISHA.
