About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled Cisco Engineer with strong experience in UCS (Unified Computing System) to join our infrastructure team. This rolesits at the crossroads of server administration, networking, virtualization, and storage, making it ideal for a Data Center / Infrastructure / Systems Engineer with solid networking knowledge.

Location: Chennai

Work Model: Night Shift - USA/Alaska time zone

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Cisco UCS environments (compute infrastructure, profiles, firmware, etc.).
- Administer and support VMware vSphere/ESXi environments, including host lifecycle management and cluster operations.
- Monitor VMware infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and capacity optimization.
- Administer and troubleshoot server hardware and operating systems (Linux / Windows Server).
- Collaborate across teams on networking, storage, and virtualization topics.
- Configure and maintain TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and connectivity.




- Support and integrate storage technologies (Fibre Channel, iSCSI).
- Manage and support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Contribute to automation and scripting efforts (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
- Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:
- Robust understanding of Cisco UCS architecture and administration.
- VMware administration in enterprise environments.
- Solid knowledge of:
- Server hardware
- Linux and/or Windows Server
- TCP/IP networking and VLANs
- Experience with:
- Storage systems (Fibre Channel, iSCSI)
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Basic automation/scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Ansible).

Nice to Have:
- Experience in large-scale environments with dedicated UCS domains.
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
- Certifications (Cisco, VMware, Microsoft).
