Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, and forms.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of ABAP programs.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in SAP ECC systems.
• Maintain and support existing SAP ABAP applications.
• Work closely with business users, functional consultants, and IT teams.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and internal processes.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP/4, Object-Oriented ABAP.




• Strong experience with SAP GUI and ABAP Workbench.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Module Pool programming.
• Mandatory knowledge of ABAP Proxy objects (SPROXY) and SAP integrations.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with a robust focus on quality.
Good to Have
• Experience working in SAP ECC AMS / Support environments.
• Knowledge of SAP FS-CM and claims processing.
