JOB OPENING – FABRICATION SUPERVISOR

Position: Fabrication Supervisor
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Heavy Structure Fabrication

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise heavy structural fabrication activities from material preparation to final assembly.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings.
- Manage fabrication teams, welders, fitters, and helpers at the shop floor.
- Monitor cutting, fit-up, welding, grinding, assembly, and dimensional inspection.
- Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Quality, and Project teams.
- Monitor daily production targets and manpower allocation.
- Ensure proper use of welding machines, fabrication tools, lifting equipment, and PPE.
- Identify fabrication issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain daily production and fabrication records.




- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / Engineering qualification in Mechanical / Fabrication preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in heavy structure fabrication.
- Solid knowledge of structural steel fabrication and welding processes.
- Experience in handling fabrication teams and shop-floor activities.
- Ability to understand and work from engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of welding, fit-up, alignment, dimensional checking, and fabrication sequence.
- Good manpower management and communication skills.
- Candidates with experience in industrial structures, heavy equipment structures, platforms, frames, skids, or similar fabrication works will be preferred.
