Role & responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for rooms, banquets, conferences, and other hotel services.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate, government and MICE segments.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and presentations to generate business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and commercial terms with clients.

Market Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Identify recent market segments and revenue opportunities.
- Prepare market analysis and weekly sales reports.

Client Relationship Management
- Ensure prompt handling of client inquiries and proposals.
- Maintain a database of key accounts and prospective clients.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements and events.

Brand Promotion
- Represent the hotel at trade fairs, networking events, and industry forums.




- Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns and lead-generation activities.
- Enhance brand visibility within the Burdwan region and surrounding markets.

Preferred candidate profile:
- Graduate in any discipline; Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or MBA in Marketing preferred.
- Minimum 48 years of experience in Hotel Sales.
- Strong network within corporate, government, industrial, and travel trade segments.
- Excellent communication (English, Hindi and Bengali), negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Candidates with a personal two-wheeler will be considered as an added advantage.
- Must be willing to travel extensively within the region for business development activities and client meetings.
