Role & responsibilities
- Drive GeM business development across PAN India.
- Manage relationships with government departments, PSUs and government procurement organisations.
- Identify government business opportunities through GeM, tenders, rate contracts, RFQs and other procurement channels.
- Manage GeM catalogue and timely addition/update of products and configurations.
- Manage authorised partner onboarding on GeM.
- Coordinate with partners for GeM registration, product listing and tender participation.
- Identify relevant government tenders and evaluate business opportunities.
- Participate in open tenders, rate contracts, RFQs and government bids.
- Ensure technical qualification and compliance with tender parameters.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of tender documentation.
- Manage EMD/BG preparation, tracking and closure.
- Provide tender intelligence and government procurement information to business teams.
- Coordinate with sales/business teams for pricing,
documentation and bid submissions.
- Train and support authorised partners on GeM processes and government tender participation.
- Track tender status, orders, outstanding payments, expenses, claims and audit requirements.
- Monitor changes in government procurement policies and GeM guidelines.
- Build and maintain a network with relevant government stakeholders.
- Support resolution of operational issues related to government orders and GeM transactions.
