Key Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Greet patients, review physician orders, explain procedures to ease anxiety, and gather medical histories.
- Image Acquisition: Position patients and calibrate equipment accurately to capture clear, high-quality diagnostic images of targeted body areas.
- Safety Protocols: Minimize radiation risks for patients and staff by correctly applying lead shields, aprons, and other protective devices.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep examination rooms clean, stock supplies, inspect machinery, and report mechanical malfunctions promptly.
- Record Keeping: Log completed procedures, update digital archives (such as PACS), and file patient notes for radiologist review.
- Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a recognized equivalent program.
- Certification & Licensing: Skilled certification (such as ARRT in the United States) and valid local or state medical licensure where required.
- Hard Skills: Profound knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, and radiation protection standards.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, active compassion for sick or injured patients, and fine attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or walk for long periods and assist with lifting or moving immobile patients.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
