Sr Project Manager: Water Treatment Plant

Job Description

Project staff in a Water Treatment Plant are responsible for supporting the successful planning, execution, and completion of water treatment projects. They play an integral role in ensuring the productive and smooth operation of the plant, from project initiation to the final stages of implementation. Their primary responsibilities include assisting with the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment used for water purification, as well as ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of water treatment projects, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Site Management: Oversee day-to-day operations at project sites, ensuring work is carried out according to safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Installation & Commissioning Support: Assist with the installation, commissioning, and testing of water treatment plant equipment, such as filtration systems, pumps,



and valves.
- Operation & Maintenance: Provide support for the ongoing operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Quality Control: Monitor water quality at different stages of treatment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality parameters.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance during troubleshooting and the resolution of mechanical or operational issues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, equipment installations, maintenance schedules, and water quality tests. Prepare regular progress reports for project managers.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
