Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. The role will support electrical design across industrial, machinery, automation, transport, mining and energy projects, working closely with other engineering disciplines. Key responsibilities include electrical design, technical calculations, engineering documentation, design verification and compliance with relevant Australian Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop electrical designs for industrial machinery, equipment and engineering projects.
2. Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control circuit diagrams.
3. Perform electrical calculations, equipment sizing and component selection.
4. Design and document electrical control systems for machinery and equipment.
5. Prepare electrical layouts, panel layouts, cable schedules, termination schedules and I/O lists.
6. Select appropriate electrical components including motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors and protection devices.

Review client-provided drawings, specifications, CAD models and technical information.
8. Assist with electrical design verification, technical assessments and certification.
9. Interpret and apply relevant Australian Standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
10. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, BOMs and project documentation.
11. Coordinate with mechanical, structural and project engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
12. Identify design issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
13. Communicate with clients and project teams to clarify technical requirements.
14. Participate in design reviews and incorporate technical feedback.
15. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed accurately and within project timelines.
16. Maintain project documentation and engineering records.

Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
