Branch Manager – Mangalore Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager for our Mangalore branch with a proven track record in managing branch operations and leading a team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall Marketing, Operations, Administration and Collections of the branch and will lead a team of approximately 20 staff members.
Candidates with experience in Shipping, Clearing & Forwarding Agencies, Service Industry, Pest Control or Fumigation Companies will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall management and administration of the Mangalore branch.
- Lead, supervise and motivate a team of approximately 20 staff members.
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Plan and execute marketing and business development activities.
- Conduct regular client visits and maintain good customer relationships.
- Monitor and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Ensure smooth and productive day-to-day branch operations.
- Monitor branch stock, consumables,
equipment and other inventories and ensure proper maintenance of stock records.
- Coordinate with the Head Office on operational, financial and administrative matters.
- Liaise with Government departments and officials, port authorities and other regulatory agencies as required.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, statutory requirements and applicable Government regulations.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, productivity and discipline.
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action in consultation with the Head Office.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of branch records.
Reporting to Head Office
The Branch Manager will be responsible for providing regular reports to the Head Office, including:
- Monthly Sales Report – branch-wise sales, targets achieved and business pipeline.
- Monthly Collection Report – outstanding amounts, collections made and overdue r
