We’re looking for a
creative, strategic Instagram & Community Growth Specialist
who understands South Asian culture and knows how to turn Instagram attention into a
real, active, and balanced community.

This is
not a content-scheduling job.

We want someone who understands
people, culture, creators, trends, communities, and what makes someone actually want to show up.

What You'll Do
- Build and execute an Instagram growth strategy for BAKCHODS
- Help grow a
strong and balanced South Asian audience
, with a particular focus on making our community highly welcoming and attractive to women
- Identify audience segments across South Asian communities in the U.S. and Canada
- Develop content strategies around:
- Reels
- Memes
- Dating & relationships
- Friendships
- Desi culture
- Travel




- Food
- Nightlife
- Events
- Bollywood & entertainment
- South Asian life in North America
- Identify viral cultural moments, conversations, jokes, memes, and trends that BAKCHODS can own
- Find and build relationships with
South Asian creators, influencers, women-led communities, college groups, cultural organizations, and local community pages
- Develop creator collaborations that bring
recent, high-quality people
into the community
- Build strategies that encourage people to:
- Tag friends
- Share posts
- Comment
- Join events
- Invite their friends
- Follow the BAKCHODS community
- Develop city-specific growth strategies for markets such as
Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other major South Asian markets
- Recommend and manage Meta/Instagram advertising experiments when appropriate
- Track growth, engagement, demographics, conversion,
