Role & responsibilities
*Key Responsibilities*
•Define embedded electronics and system architecture for medical devices.
•Lead microcontroller/processor, component and subsystem selection.
•Define/review firmware architecture, schematics, PCB designs and engineering calculations.
•Lead power electronics, battery/power-management, actuator and flow-control system design.
•Lead PCB bring-up, multidisciplinary integration and complex failure analysis.
•Define product verification, reliability and validation strategies.
•Drive root-cause analysis, design improvements and engineering change control.
•Support EMI/EMC, electrical safety and product certification activities.
•Own technical readiness for clinical validation and field deployment.
•Lead critical projects, mentor L0/L1 engineers and coordinate across engineering/clinical teams.
*Basic Technical Expectations*
•Microcontrollers, embedded architecture and Embedded C/C++.
•UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, RS-232/RS-485 and Ethernet.
•Analog/digital electronics, PCB design review and board-level debugging.
•Component selection, lifecycle management and design optimisation.
•Power electronics, conversion, protection and system power architecture.
•Battery pack design, charging, BMS, protection and power optimisation.
•Motor, solenoid and precision actuator-control systems.
•Pump, valve, flow and pressure-control systems including closed-loop control.
•Product verification, reliability testing, root-cause analysis and design reviews.
