Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks and Delta Lake to design and deliver implementation-ready Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in up-to-date data modeling techniques and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold). The candidate will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable data models, schemas, SQL/DDL structures, transformation logic, and documentation that can be directly consumed by Data Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Logical and Physical Data Models using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models (CDM/LDM/PDM).
- Design scalable data structures following Medallion Architecture – Bronze, Silver,



and Gold layers.
- Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, constraints, schemas, and data types.
- Create DDL-ready SQL definitions for Data Engineering implementation.
- Define transformation logic across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
- Apply Delta Lake best practices when designing data models.
- Design and implement models using:
- 3rd Normal Form (3NF)
- Star Schema
- Snowflake Schema
- Data Vault
- Ensure data models are implementation-ready with minimal ambiguity for Data Engineering teams.
- Create and maintain ER diagrams, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, and mapping documentation.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable data models.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, performance, and accessibility.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders.
