ReOrbit is seeking a motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.

In this role, you will lead the design and development of our satellites while mentoring and supporting team members. With your extensive hands-on experience in satellite ecosystems, you’ll hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on our projects.

Responsibilities
- System Design: Support the design, integration, and validation of complex space and ground systems, ensuring that every component works in harmony to meet the projects or product’s objectives.
- Requirements Engineering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and refine both technical and non-technical requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with mission goals. CONOPS/OPSCON, use cases development




- Performing feasibility studies
- Supporting business development with bids, providing technical information and supporting documentation

Skills And Requirements
- At least 10 years' experience working as a space systems engineer, preferably on medium to large GEO satellites.
- Full lifecycle awareness, through all phases of a project, from requirements to AIT and launch.
- Solid understanding of NASA and ECSS Standards.
- Experience developing and executing verification & validation (V&V;) test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Ability to plan and execute integration, verification, and validation (IV&V;) test activities.
- Ability to review, understand, gather and refine stakeholder needs across operations, user, client, and ground segment communities.
- Familiarity with developing and decomposing technical requirements, conducting feasibility analyses, and supporting conceptual design activities
