We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Description:

As an Accounts Receivable specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the company's accounts receivable function. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintain positive relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoicing: Send accurate and timely invoices to customers, ensuring that all necessary details are included, such as billing terms, payment due dates, and contact information.

Collections: Proactively contact customers to follow up on outstanding invoices, send reminders, make collection calls, and send collection letters as needed. Develop and implement collection strategies based on invoice aging.

Cash Application: Accurately apply customer payments to their respective accounts and invoices. Ensure that payments are posted promptly and discrepancies are resolved.

Aging Analysis:



Generate aging reports to track the status of outstanding invoices and prioritize collections efforts based on invoice due dates. Identify overdue accounts and take appropriate actions.

Customer Communication: Maintain open and skilled communication with customers regarding their accounts. Address inquiries, resolve disputes, and provide account statements as required.

Bad Debt Management: Identify and report potential bad debts. Collaborate with Accounts Head to determine when to write off uncollectible accounts and make provisions for bad debts.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable aging.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
