Engineer Stores | Panel Parts

Role Purpose:
Responsible for receiving, storage, inventory control, material movement and line-side supply of panel parts for bus and commercial vehicle manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inward/receiving of panel parts and verify PO, quantity, part number and delivery documents.
- Coordinate GRN/MRN, incoming inspection and material acceptance with Quality.
- Ensure proper identification, tagging, binning and systematic storage of panel parts.
- Maintain FIFO, stock accuracy and complete material traceability.
- Ensure timely line-side supply of panel parts to Body Shop and Production.
- Conduct cycle counting and perpetual inventory to maintain real-time stock accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of critical panel parts.
- Investigate and resolve shortages, excess, damage, rejection and stock discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate SAP/ERP transactions for GRN,



stock transfer, material issue and inventory adjustments.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile physical vs. system inventory.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and PPC for uninterrupted material flow.
- Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent scratches, dents, deformation and other damage to panel parts.
- Drive 5S, space utilization, FIFO, inventory accuracy and stores process improvements.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock statements and reconciliation records.

Preferred Experience: 3–8 years in automotive/commercial vehicle manufacturing, preferably in panel parts, body shop or stores operations, with hands-on experience in SAP/ERP, cycle counting and perpetual inventory management.
