Job Title: Electrician / Technician
Department: Electrical - DRI 650 Plant
Reporting To: Department HOD
Experience: 3-6 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Industry: Steel / Sponge Iron (DRI) / Integrated Steel Plant
Job Purpose
Ensure protected and reliable electrical maintenance and uninterrupted operation of the DRI-650 plant.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown electrical maintenance.
- Maintain motors, cables, lighting, MCCs and switchgear.
- Attend shift breakdowns promptly.
- Perform insulation and continuity checks.
- Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
- Maintain tools and housekeeping.
