About the job IAC and Application DBA

Role Overview:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation.

Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

Robust knowledge of Git-based source control and branching strategies.

The DBA in the Database Engineering team will be responsible for database administration for Postgres, SQL Server, and No-SQL database management systems, etc.

The DBA role will be responsible for database design, data architecture, and data modeling.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP.

The DBA will evaluate, configure, and install database management systems thru end to end automation.

The DBA will be involved in database design and database release processes.

Required Skills: IAC – Terraform, Python, Powershell, Postgres, Github Actions, GIT.

Good to have: SQL Server, Database security, GitHub,



ErStudio, Jira, ITIL tools

Communication Skills: Ability to lead projects, multi-tasking, ability to work with application development, infrastructure, operational, and information security teams.

Location: Candidate should be based in Bangalore.

Job Description:

You will work with DB team, Application team and help to Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and cloud-native templates.

You will help to Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of cloud infrastructure.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.

You will design and conduct data migration, database backup & database recovery activities.

About You

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related fields preferred.
