Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager responsible for generating new business, developing strategic customer relationships, and achieving revenue growth across ocean freight, air freight, project logistics, customs brokerage, warehousing, and value-added logistics services. The ideal candidate should possess solid knowledge of the freight forwarding industry and have an established network of importers, exporters, and supply chain decision-makers.

Responsibilities
- Business Development - Identify and acquire new customers for international freight forwarding services.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, digital platforms, and industry events.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.




- Customer Relationship Management - Understand customer logistics requirements and propose customized supply chain solutions.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close profitable business opportunities.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Commercial - Prepare quotations in coordination with pricing and operations teams.
- Negotiate freight rates and commercial agreements.
- Maintain healthy sales margins.
- Monitor competitors and market pricing.
- Account Management - Grow existing customer accounts through cross-selling and upselling.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with customers.
- Identify additional logistics opportunities within existing accounts.
- Market Intelligence - Monitor market trends, freight movements, and competitor activities.
- Share actionable market intelligence with management.
- Identify emerging business sectors and new trade lanes.
- CRM Reporting - Maintain accurate customer informat
