About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and coordinate on-ground logistics activities. The role will involve being present at loading and unloading locations, supervising vehicle and material movement, coordinating with transporters and the internal logistics team, and providing real-time updates from the site.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with field work, have good communication skills, and be proactive in handling in office logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Be present at assigned loading and unloading locations and supervise logistics activities.
- Oversee loading and unloading of materials and ensure the process is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with drivers, transporters, warehouse teams, customers and the internal logistics team.
- Provide live updates from the site regarding vehicle arrival, loading/unloading status, delays and dispatch.
- Share photographs, documents and other required proof of loading/unloading with the logistics team.
- Verify vehicle details, LR/transport documents and material movement as required.
- Monitor vehicle movement and immediately report any delays, discrepancies or operational issues.
- Ensure that loading quantities and material details match the assigned order/dispatch instructions.
- Coordinate with the logistics team for timely vehicle placement and dispatch.
