Responsibilities :
- Identify and drive product cost improvement actions by working with a cross-functional team (notably Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Finance)
- Conduct Teardown analysis of UPS s and analyze Should costing to understand product cost structure (Sheetmetal, Plastic enclosures, cables, PCBs, etc)
- Develop product cost comparisons to evaluate and benchmark manufacturing locations and suppliers
- Prepare and deliver presentations on product cost targets, key cost drivers, and supporting cost reduction activities
- Monitor product costs during the NPDI process and throughout the product lifecycle to identify and act on variances
- Identify and pursue continuous improvement projects that deliver improved VCM (Variable Cost Margins) for non-product related cost reductions. E. g. , Warehouse overhead reduction, Scrap and Warranty returns reduction, Supply chain improvements, etc

Requirements :
- Bachelor s degree in engineering or related technical degree; Electrical Engineering is preferred
- 7 plus years experience in VAVE, Supply Chain,



or Manufacturing
- Experience with current product development processes and activities is preferred
- Demonstrated competence in problem solving, data analysis, project management
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations of insights and recommendations, supported by data analysis
- Experience developing cross-functional and cross-regional relationships to achieve business objectives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI), Smartsheet, and other business applications, Creo, AutoCAD expertise preferred.
- Excellent communications skills - written verbal
