Role & responsibilities
- Manage import shipments from supplier to final delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA/customs agents, and transporters.
- Check import documents and ensure timely customs clearance.
- Track shipment ETA, clearance, and delivery status.
- Arrange vehicles and coordinate loading/unloading and transportation.
- Follow up with drivers and transporters for timely delivery.
- Collect and maintain PODs and transport documents.
- Verify freight and transporter bills.
- Handle delays, shortages, damages, and other logistics issues.
- Prepare import/transport MIS and maintain proper records.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

Preferred candidate profile
- Knowledge of import and transportation operations.
- Valuable coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
- MS Excel/Office knowledge.
- Good documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and vehicles.
