This role involves developing and supporting vehicle bus-based features, ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle systems. The Senior Firmware Engineer is also deeply involved in both hardware and embedded software development, working closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance the functionality of telematics solutions.



The position requires collaboration with the Head of Hardware Engineering to drive product innovation, ensuring that the firmware solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and develop high-quality, reliable, and robust firmware for Teletrac telematics products, ensuring seamless operation and integration with hardware components.
- Develop and support vehicle bus-based features, working closely with the hardware engineering team to ensure compatibility and functionality within the telematics system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and QA engineers to ensure cohesive development, integration, and testing of firmware solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve embedded firmware issues, providing technical support during product lifecycle phases, from development through post-release maintenance.
