Job Title: Trainee Coding

Experience: Fresher / 0-1 Years

Role and Responsibilities:
- Learn and perform medical coding for E&M;, Surgery, and Pain Management cases under supervision.
- Ensure coding compliance with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and payer-specific guidelines.
- Assist in reviewing coding documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in training sessions to develop coding skills and understanding of healthcare regulations.
- Support coding teams in basic audits, quality checks, and data entry tasks.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines, anatomy, and physiology concepts through continuous learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Certifications:




- CPC Certification Mandatory (AAPC Certified or in-progress)

Educational Qualifications:
- Graduation in Health & Allied Health or Biology/Life Sciences would be an added advantage

Skills:
- Good knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology
- Solid understanding of ICD, CPT, and Modifiers
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Experience:
- Fresher or 0 1 year experience in medical coding or healthcare documentation is acceptable.
- Basic exposure to EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) is a plus.
