Job Summary

UNIKraft Techno LLP is looking for a hands-on Robot Teaching Engineer for an onsite automation project at our client location in Chennai.

The candidate will be responsible for robot teaching, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of industrial robotic systems.

Robot Experience

Experience with FANUC or ABB industrial robots is required.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in FANUC OR ABB robots can apply.
- Experience with both FANUC and ABB will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with strong experience in one robot platform and a willingness to work on the other platform are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform robot teaching and programming for industrial automation applications.
- Teach, modify, test, and optimize robot programs.
- Perform robot touch-up, calibration,



and position correction.
- Develop and modify robot programs according to production requirements.
- Support robot commissioning and production prove-out activities.
- Troubleshoot robot programming, sequence, I/O, interlock, and operational issues.
- Support robotic welding applications and optimize robot paths where applicable.
- Coordinate with PLC, electrical, mechanical, welding, and automation teams.
- Integrate robots with welding equipment, fixtures, positioners, sensors, PLCs, and other automation systems.
- Optimize robot cycle time, movement, quality, and productivity.
- Perform trial runs and production validation.
- Maintain robot programs, backups, and technical documentation.
- Support customer-site troubleshooting and project activities.
- Follow all customer safety and quality procedures.
