We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our mobile application. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in native Android development, a solid understanding of modern mobile architecture patterns, and the ability to deliver high-quality features within a quick-paced contract engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement new features.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Implement unit tests and support the QA process.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide regular progress updates.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Experience with Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room).
- Good understanding of MVVM Architecture and Clean Architecture principles.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with Android Studio and Gradle build systems.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with unit testing and UI testing frame
