Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient Assistant Manager – IT to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, servers, systems, and end-user support.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, reliability, and smooth operation of IT systems and network infrastructure while leading the IT support team and coordinating with vendors and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hardware & IT Infrastructure
- Manage desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, servers, switches, routers, UPS and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper allocation and tracking of assets.
- Plan hardware upgrades, replacements and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues within defined service levels.

2. Software & Application Support
- Install, configure and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Manage software licenses,



renewals and compliance.
- Troubleshoot application and operating-system issues.
- Coordinate with software vendors for technical support and issue resolution.
- Ensure regular patching and updating of systems.

3. Networking & Connectivity
- Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN and Internet connectivity.
- Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls and access points.
- Monitor network performance, availability and security.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers and networking vendors.
- Maintain network documentation, IP address records and network diagrams.

4. Server & System Administration
- Support Windows servers and related infrastructure.
- Monitor server performance, storage and availability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls.
- Ensure regular backups and periodically verify backup restoration.
